Dual purpose product which can be utilised as either a Launch Amplifier or Distribution Amplifier for unbalanced coaxial cable. Use as a Launch Amplifier when installed at the camera end to enhance picture quality over longer transmission distances or as a Distribution Amplifier when used at the monitor end of the cable run where it will function as a Video Distribution Amplifier using the two coax outputs.

The AEBH187 unit is a video line corrector and will compensate for signal losses in coaxial cable, unbalanced coaxial cable enabling high quality pictures to be transmitted over long distances. The unit will equalise the incoming cable losses to a maximum of 35dB at 4.4MHz, increasing to 45dB when used in conjunction with a AEBH184 Launch Amplifier.

The AEBH209 is a single channel Video Distribution Amplifier that when used on its own will split a video signal into two identical outputs with no loss of signal strength or signal quality. When used with one AEBH208 up to seven outputs can be achieved and with two AEBH208 can give up to twelve outputs.

The AEBH208 is a passive expander unit that increases the number of output video signals on the AEBH209; each unit accepts one expander input from the AEBH209 and gives five extra video outputs with no loss of signal strength or signal quality. The BH208 cannot be used independently, as it requires a AEBH209 as the video driver.

The AEBH220 is ordered unpopulated with 16 slots available and then assembled in the factory with modules as per the customer's requirement. The versatile design nables a choice appropriate to the installation and also offers the potential to reserve space for future capacity. Depending on the configuration, the unit will accept a maximum of 32 inputs. The rack is supplied with an in line switch mode power supply and extender card to assist the installer with any required adjustments.
