The CatX AVP Tx2 transmitter broadcasts a sharp high quality video to two separate displays at distances of up to 300m (600m span), using low cost cat5 UTP cable.
This VGA cat5 extender can take its power directly from the VGA source, making installation very simple and straightforward. The maximum high resolution of 2048 x 1536 makes the CatX AVP Tx2 the best quality unit in this category.
CatX AVP Tx2 has two modes of operation, AV mode for Audio+Video and VP mode for Video+Power. In VP mode, the CatX AVP Tx2 unit can directly power two CatX Mini VP Rx units, each up to 150m each. This further reduces cost and simplifies installation at the receiver end.
The CatX AVP Tx2 consumes less than 0.2W per port and as such can take their power directly from a DDC2B compliant VGA source, requiring no external PSU.
An optional 1U rack mount kit can accommodate up to two CatX AVP Tx2 transmitters. Alternatively, the units can be secured using optional wall or DIN rail mounting brackets.
This VGA cat5 extender can also daisy chain to another CatX AVP Tx2, Tx4 or Tx8 transmitter to increase the number of outputs available, providing maximum configuration and flexibility. The transmitter also provides a local VGA and audio output.
